The Alpha Lantern Prototype' is one of the robotic creations of the Guardians of the Universe.
History[]
At some point, the Guardian of the Universe known as the Science Director began working on an Alpha Lantern Prototype. In theory, the best of the best Green Lanterns would handle internal affairs and undergo cybernetic surgery that would create a direct interface with their personal power batteries, a psychic link to the Book of Oa, and allow them to tap into the Green Lantern Central Power Battery. It was never finished.
