Larvox is a member of the Green Lantern Corps. Larvox was one of the security officers at the Science Branch, located on Oa.
History[]
While guarding the Science Branch on Oa, he received an unexpected visit from Kilowog, who furiously requested that he display to him his log records; all in an attempt to create a distraction for Hal Jordan to sneak into the lab to rescue Aya. Larvox frantically complied to his request. Kilowog continued to scold Larvox on his "sloppy" records, until, Hal succeeded in rescuing Aya. Kilowog instructed that Larvox clean up his act before he departed to meet up with Hal, leaving Larvox relieved.[1]

Background information[]
In the comics, Larvox originated from the planet Sputa, which had a very unique evolutionary cycle. Their insects, bacteria and plants became more prominent than mammals. All denizens shared in a community with no true individuality. This was done in harmony with the planet, and not something imposed by their society. It was this free will that allowed Larvox to be a longstanding member of the Green Lantern Corps.
