Norman is one of the Nidara a species based on the Class G Planet.
History[]
He was assigned by his people to watch over the Green Lantern; Hal Jordan. He showed Jordan the importance and dangers of the Yellow Element. Since conventional verbal communication was not possible, Jordan referred to him as "Norman" and he didn't seem to mind. In the battle against the Zoar, Norman carefully stripped Teela of Yellow Elements and the two became fast friends.
