Outside of a town, Professor Chilton rocked the scientific community with the discovery of ancient ruin]. What Chilton actually discovered was a long dormant Manhunter Bunker that was recently reactivated by the Anti-Monitor. After seeing a news flash about a sudden energy spike at Tegra, Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner investigated and fought three Manhunters. They were able to destroy them before they decimated the nearby town.
